Saudi Vision 2030 is a transformative economic and social reform plan launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in 2016. The initiative aims to diversify Saudi Arabia’s economy, reducing its reliance on oil by fostering growth in various sectors, such as tourism, entertainment, education, and technology. It also focuses on increasing employment opportunities, particularly for young Saudis and women, and promoting a more open, moderate image of the Kingdom.

A key part of Vision 2030 is the development of non-oil industries, including renewable energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. Projects like NEOM, a futuristic smart city, and the Red Sea tourism project are central to attracting international investment and boosting the local economy. Another significant goal is the privatization of state-owned enterprises, such as Saudi Aramco, to raise capital and enhance the private sector's contribution to the economy.

The initiative also emphasizes the importance of cultural reforms, including increasing entertainment options and expanding women's roles in society and the workforce. Vision 2030 represents Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to become a global hub for business and tourism, while fostering a more sustainable and innovative economy that aligns with global standards of development and modernization.
